Averie, this is your fault.

You made me do it. You turned me onto this beautiful machine.

I totally love you for it. Thank you.

In case the title didn’t explain this well enough, dear readers, I’ll say it again for you:

DONUTS that taste like COOKIE DOUGH.

If these weren’t so healthy, we’d be in trouble.

Your welcome.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Donuts (Vegan, low fat, low calorie, delicious)

These only have about 65 calories each, so you can totally go crazy. I mean, we’d do that anyway, but now you can feel better about it. See how much I care?

Ingredients

1c. all purpose flour

1 1/2t ener-g egg replacer

1 1/2t baking powder

1/4t salt

1/3c. brown sugar

2/3c. almond milk

1/2t apple cider vinegar

1/2t vanilla extract

handful of chocolate chips

Combine flour, egg replacer, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Add almond milk, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract and stir but don’t overmix. Add in chocolate chips.

Eat.

Scoop into your nifty new donut maker and cook about 4-5 minutes until a toothpick inserted in come out clean. Of course, if you don’t have a donut maker (sorry), then scoop batter into greased donut pans and bake at 350F for 12 minutes until a toothpick come out clean.

Hey, who took a bite out of one of the donuts?

If you don’t have a donut pan either (ouch!) but you still really want to make these, then use a muffin tin and just watch ’em really carefully. Cool?

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have donuts to eat.

Enjoy!

-Kelly M.

Wow, they look awesome! And to answer your question to me...I think the reason I didnt get the ping is with Wordpress, it only alerts me if someone links to an actual post of mine; whereas you linked to my site in general, not a specific post. Some sort of thing that WP does with me...not sure if it's universal or just my glitch. lol Loved that you pulled off amazing looking vegan donuts!

Wow, thank you! I didn't know that about WP, but it totally makes sense. Thank you for keeping me in the loop! ;)

Um. What??? Cookie dough doughnuts??? I so wish I had a doughnut pan so I could make some of these yummy creations I've been seeing around. I SUPPOSE I could use a muffin pan, but come to think of it, I haven't got one of those after....doughnut loaf?

I love the donut loaf idea! A donut pan is a GREAT investment, though. ;)

Just checking out your blog...your so funny! Just purchased a donut pan from HomeSense for 1/2 price as my youngest son has been begging for them. My boys have food allergies so baking donuts at home is the only way they can have them. I love the idea of putting chocolate chips in the batter! The boys will certainly go for that!

That donut pan may be the best investment you ever made, you know, besides you house and your car and, well, maybe not. I hope you enjoy the donuts!

Thank You JESUS!!!!!! Seriously the answer to my prayers! My project about how donuts can be under 100 calories and delicious is due next week. Girl, you definitely have helped. Thanks so so much! One small question. For the recipe it says "t" is that tbs, or tsp? :)

Yay! I am so glad I could help! Lowercase t means teaspoon and uppercase T means tablespoon. I know this is confusing so I write out all the measurments for my more recent recipes. Thank you so much for reading!

Can you use real eggs or liquid egg whites in place of egg replacer? I'm not vegan but these look heavenly.
