45 Holiday Recipes

To all of you who celebrate, Merry Christmas!

I hope your day was filled to the brim with joy and cheer being spent with people you love. As a yardstick, you should now have a full belly and a happy heart. Just FYI.

So I’m popping in to send you my love before I slip into food coma-induced slumber, but I want to leave you a present of sorts. According to the Catholic tradition, the Christmas season only begins today and doesn’t until mid January. You know what that means? The celebration has only begun!

Um, people? This is major. Bust out the cookies because we need to get our holiday cheer on! (Bonus: shopping is much more affordable now.)

So for your viewing and chewing pleasure, I have collected an assorted roundup of 45 holiday recipes  from around the blogosphere (not all particularly healthy, but vegetarian at the very least!), beginning right here at Foodie Fiasco and ending at the farthest reaches of mankind’s holiday food knowledge.

I know you love it when I’m melodramatic.

Thanks for linking up my tomato soup. Funny you put me in the side dish category when 90% of my stuff is desserts...but hey, I'll take it! :) Hope you had a great holiday and best wishes for a great 2013, Kelly!

Thank you so much for including my Ginger Molasses Cookies! They were voted the favorite this year... I'm secretly glad they aren't in my house any more. My poor, broken self-control... lol!

How could you be expected to have any self-control around such delicious cookies? P.S. I would be more than happy to come over and eat leftovers if you happen to make any more cookies. ;) Happy New Year, Laura!

Thanks for including my golden celery! Just wanted to let you know both the "low-carb cranberry sauce" and "golden celery" link to my golden celery, not sure if that is a mistake or a plot of yours to get lo-carbers who love cranberries to eat more celery, but thought I'd let you know;) Great recipe round-up, and merry everyday to you!:)

Thank you so much for pointing that out, Ellen! The link field is being weird. I don't know what's causing it, but it seems to be a recurring problem here on the site. I'll keep working on it! Merry everyday (I so love your Ellen-isms) to you, dear Ellen, and I wish you a Happy New Year!
